We are seeing a creep up in mortgages rates this with with the 30 year jumbo, 30 year fixed, and 15 year fixed all moving up.  Percentage wise, the 15-year fixed mortgage moved up the highest, but only around 8 basis points.  The good news is that rates seem to be staying relatively stable, despite approvals and credit remaining tight.  It is unlikely that we will see any significant loosening of the credit spreads anytime soon, a sentiment underscored by Mr. Ben Bernanke earlier this week.
